Combining the finest qualities in the way of talent, enthusiasm and sportsmanship, Taft native Jack Lynch joins Dennis Ralston, Lake Lovelace and Sally Moore among the tennis notables in the Hall of Fame. Starting as a junior tournament player at Taft High, he went on to score many singles and doubles triumphs, in competition with the finest young players in the national. After a starring career at Stanford, he continued to compete, and still does, in senior events. His impeccable etiquette and court courtesy, and encouragement of others, particularly youngsters, has made him an outstanding representative of his sports.
