West High graduate who spent 12 years in the NFL as a safety with Dallas, Miami and Detroit. A seventh-round pick by the Cowboys in 1993 out of the University of Nevada in Reno, Marion was an All-Pro pick in 2000 and played in the 200, 2002 and the 2003 Pro Bowls, all with the Dolphins, and led the NFL with 1,532 kick return yards in 1999. He finished his career in the 31 interceptions, two quarterback sacks, 676 tackles and 235 assisted tackles. He also forced seven fumbles and recovered seven fumbles. Became a starter in his third NFL season and had an interception in the Super Bowl XXX. He was four-year started at Dev, 1-AA powerhouse Nevada from 1989-92, earning all-conference honors in his final three seasons with the Wolf Pack. Was Back of the Year as a senior at West in 1987.
