
Duane Damron

Born in Marlow, Oklahoma, and a McFarland High School graduate. Duane spent 35 years as an assistant football coach at Bakersfield College, working with the offensive line. he was on the staff of four head coaches - Ray Newman, Gerry Collis, Carl Bowser and Dallas Grider. He began his coaching career at Colusa High School in Northern California, then spent six years coaching and teaching at Arvin High School before joining the Renegade Staff in 1966. Played football at UC Davis and was an All-Far West Conference pick in 1955-56.
