Born on Prince Edward Isle, near Nova Scotia. Made first impact on harness racing at Bay State Raceway in Boston as a driver-traier. Handled racing interests for S.A. Camp in SHafter 1952-1962 during which time his charges won $3,500,000.00 in purses. Leader in driving trotters and pacers to their first two minute performance and has driven more races under two minutes than any other driver. Won purses totalling $8,160,000.00 1939-1967. Director U.S. Trotting Association. Owner-President, CHampion Turf Equipment Co. In Canadian Sports Hall of Fame. “The man with a clock in his head.”
