Kevin Harvick

North High School graduate who began racing go-karts at age 7 and competed in Late Models by the time he was in high school. Harvick has had a brilliant career in various divisions in NASCAR, highlighted by his victory in the 2007 Daytona 500. Currently drives the No. 29 car for Richard Childress Racing, Harvick finished third in points in 2010 and 2011 in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series where he is coming off his best season: Four first-place finishes and 19 top-10's. Has 18 career wins and 172 top-10's in the Sprint Cup Series; 37 wins and 201 top-10's in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, with points championships in 2001 and 2006; and 13 wins and 58 top-10's in the NASCAR truck series. Was Rookie of the Year for the Featherlite Series in 1995, the Busch Series in 2000 and the Winston Cup Series in 2001. Joined Sprint Cup Series when he was tabbed by Childress as the replacement for Dale Earnhardt after Earnhardt's death in the 2001 Daytona 500.
