
Marvin Mosconi

Known as "Monk" during his days as an elusive halfback at the University of San Francisco, Mosconi was a three-year starter for the Dons and later played two pro seasons for the Los Angeles Bulldogs. An all-around sports standout at Kern County Union High School, Mosconi pursued a teaching and coaching career in his home town. He was Garces High's first football coach and later was also head coach at Arvin High. Tonight marks his third Hall of Fame honor as he was previously elected to the USF and the Kern County Officials Association's Halls.
