A 2002 West High graduate who still holds the CIF Central Section record for career points (2,938). She also has the second-and third-highest single-season scoring marks in Central Section history: 913 points her junior year and 905 her senior year. Those ranked 1-2 in section history when she graduated. After her high school career, Blue accepted a basketball scholarship to UCLA, She was a four-year starting point guard and was named to the All-Pac-10 Conference first-team all four seasons. Her career averages at UCLA: 15.2 points, 5.1 assists, 5.2 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game. After her collegiate career, Blue played in the WNBA for the Washington Mystics and New York Liberty and also played professionally in Turkey and Greece. She began her coaching career at UNLV, where she spent six seasons. She also spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the CSUB Women’s Basketball team.
