Inducted February 16, 1967

Native of Tennessee, came to Bakersfield in 1917. Active in establishing junior athletic activities. Sponsor of many bowling, softball, basketball and baseball teams. Supported financially Kern County sports programs. Baseball park owned by the county in Bakersfield bears his name. Passed away in 1940 but still remembered by Sam Lynn award in high school and colleges.
