Foothill HIgh and Bakersfield College graduate who has been the BC team doctor since 1978 and spent more than 25 years as the Foothill team doctor. Played football at Foothill under legendary coach Ned Permenter and then played at BC as the long snapper for head coach Duane Damron. While at BC, he was encouraged to become a doctor by the late Dr. Romain Clerou. After graduating from UC Irvine's Medical School and completing his residency, Baker returned to Bakersfield to begin his medical practice and quickly offered his services to BC and Foothill, joining Dr. Clerou on the BC sidelines. Baker has remained BC's doctor since then and attends nearly every Renegade football game, home and away. In addition to the thousands of physicals and medical evaluations of atheletes at BC and Foothill, Baker worked closely with many members of the local soccer community to push for the construction of the Kern County Soccer Park, which has been a magnet for youth soccer leagues and tournaments since opening in the 1980's.
